My Clarion West classmate David Marusek will read from his first novel, Countings Heads, next Saturday, December 10th, at 7:30 pm, at the Elliot Bay Book Company, 101 South Main Street, in Seattle's Pioneer Square.
David's a fabulous writer, usually not to be met with outside Alaska. Many of you met him when he was here for Clarion West in 1992, or when he spent the summer of 2004 staying here, or last night at Vanguard, or at a Worldcon or Potlatch. The day after the reading, he'll go back to Alaska, so this will be his last chance at socializing in Seattle before another stint of writing in the cold.
