Come to Potlatch!
Jan. 2nd, 2006 10:15 pmYou Bostonians who think about attending http://www.potlatch-sf.org/ but don't usually get out here for it, JetBlue is having a sale that could get you here for $59 if you buy your tickets soon. The catch is that you'd have to pay more to get home, because the sale fare expires during that weekend, but it would be worth it, wouldn't it,
gerisullivan? What about it,
ellen_kushner? Something to break the monotony of packing and moving? (I know, I know, I'm nuts.)
We'll have spring flowers in bloom by then, you know. Hell, I have quince flowering in my yard as I type, and winter jasmine as well.
They're having a sale on the NYC-Seattle run, too, but it's not as spectacular a sale. Glenn and I looked at it and thought we could dash to New York for a weekend of going to museums and maybe see the all-instrumentalist version of Sweeney Todd, but it's probably a bit more effort than we're up for after last month's trip to Alaska and the rigors of the New Year and whatnot.
