Hmm, when did I cut my hair off? Had to be 2004, so you met me with my hair still way short.

I think of myself as a person with butt-length hair, but I've cut that hair off and donated it to Wigs for Kids three times in the last fifteen years, so I've spent rather a lot of time as a person with very much shorter hair growing out from a very buzzed head.

Yes, Luke does a good job. I look almost as good as Glenn, who is considerably more photogenic than I am. (I am not being self-deprecating here; I don't think of myself as at all unattractive, but I think that my looks are best in motion rather than static; photography removes the vivacity and therefore much of the appeal of my appearance. Glenn's face has all those great angles and still looks good when he's not moving.)

Yes, Luke's very patient and quiet when taking pictures, so he gets good results. He's taken some fine pictures of the grandchildren, too.

I know your cat needs you. Maybe you'll be traveling again next year. Maybe we'll get our butts over to the UK some year ourselves.
