I'm a crank voter

I voted this morning. I voted for Democrats and Republicans (Secretary of State, Treasurer, and Attorney General on the R side). I would have liked to vote for Bill Richardson, but I'm pleased to have voted for Barack Obama instead.

I wrote in my friend janeehawkins for Congress, since I won't vote for McDermott after he leaked the Gingrich tape (I would still vote for him if he'd said that he violated the law but thought it was the right thing to do; I think the weasel position he ended up taking was wrong). I've voted for Jane in numerous elections for years, whenever there's a race where I can't stomach voting for anyone on the ballot. ron_drummond mentioned that he frequently does this some time back, and it's a practice which gives me great personal satisfaction. Thanks for the inspiration, Ron.

Goodness, your ballot (both actual and ideal) sounds an awful lot like mine, though I neglected to vote for Jane. Maybe next time.

Under those circumstances I usually vote for my dad. But J sounds like a good idea too.

If there's two of us is that a conspiracy or a movement? I can't remember.

Hello, Just wondering if you know how to get a hold of Libby? We go way back, when she lived on Bellevue Ave on Capitol Hill, early 80's. Last I heard she moved to Port Angeles, Port Townsend??? Would really appreciate any info. Sincerely, Ed Wayno

I'm afraid I don't know how to get in touch with Libby. She did move back to Port Angeles a few years ago, and I don't have an address for her. I'd like to be in touch with her myself; she taught me so much, and I have great respect and affection for her.
