Fast and Frequent

Stunningly, Las Vegas fandom publishes a weekly on-line fanzine, Las Vegas Weekly, at http://efanzines.com/VFW/VFW36.pdf. It contains articles about science fiction fans who live in Las Vegas and their friends.The current issue has an article by Randy Byers about a monthly Seattle fannish gathering, Fans With Beers, illustrated by a picture of me so large that I had to back up when I saw it on my computer monitor. There are other pictures and other articles, including a reprint of Dick Eney's account of Claude Degler's Cosmic Circle, but the huge picture of me was the feature that caught my eye. My head is not really the most striking feature of Fans With Beers; it isn't even all that striking after we're done drinking, since one is my usual limit.

I recommend both the fanzine and the monthly beer. You can drink rather more or rather less than I do and still have a good time.
