Make me spend money!
Nov. 30th, 2009 09:20 amToday's the last day for my hat in the Interstitial Arts Foundation fundraising auction. As I post, it's at $58. Remember, I'll match the winning bid with a donation to IAF, up to $100. And now that I think of it, since IAF is a 501(c)(3) organization, my spouse's employer will match that donation dollar for dollar as well, so your winning bid will be worth not just double the amount you bid, but triple, and you'll have a smashing cocktail hat to wear to your next literary reception.
Other auctions are up as well, including some stunning jewelry, a skirt made by Pam Noles based on the same story as my cocktail hat, and an outrageous beaded bookmark.
If the whole concept of interstitial arts seems a bit hazy and confusing to you, that's not surprising, because it's a genre-crossing idea. Go here to see what it's all about.
And thanks!
