Masks

My sewing table is covered in masks and parts of masks, in various designs. I have run out of good elastic and am alternating between inferior elastic and cotton ties. I have come up with a wire from my hatmaking supplies that works relatively well as a nose piece, though it is not infinitely durable.

When this is all over, a lot of quiltmakers will be making quilts from masks. Not me. Not me.

I am a poor and unenthusiastic sewer, but I tried making masks today. I used old elastic hair ties, which worked pretty well. I had put a twist tie in for the wire and it didn't do much for fitting the mask. I put in a couple of small darts and those worked much better.
