Fall garden

We might have frost tonight, so I'm about to compost my tomato plants and bring in the half-dozen or so green zebras that might still ripen. It's been a great tomato year, given that I haven't grown tomatoes for years and only had three plants this year. Next year, I'll grow sun golds and green zebras again. The chocolate cherries were tasty, but not productive enough to earn a second turn in the tubs. Maybe I'll go for one of those scary looking black tomatoes; all the ones I've tried from the farmers' market have had great flavor.
Still going strong: romaine lettuce and fall-planted snap pea vines. I don't think I'll get actual snap peas from the pea vines, but they're good enough as greens.
