I've travelled round this country from shore to shining shore. It really made me wonder, the things I heard and sore.

You have but three remaining, I see. When I had three remaining, they were Alaska, Alabama, and South Carolina. All since done.

I expect I'll get to them, some time.

My provinces: British Columbia, Yukon, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec. Seems like I should have been to Saskatchewan some time, but I never have.

v. bad on provinces. BC, Alb, Ont, that's it. Someday. But I'm likely to nosh in Quebec and scour the Maritimes (except Nfld) before covering those far prairies of Sask and Man, let alone the far north.

I'll repeat my comment to [livejournal.com profile] fishbliss, albeit for only two states rather than his 5. Come visit! Yes, you've already been to Massachusetts, but we can easily pick up New Hampshire and Maine when you do.

Two guest bedrooms, plus the loft over the garage. Four acres of woods. Spring peepers right now, birds always (though sometimes different ones, depending on the season), and fannish sensory delight. Now with added yarn!

I'd love to come visit, but it's not part of this year's list. This year's list is constrained by the need for a new roof.

Next year or the year after, maybe...

Well, a) I travelled a lot when I was in my twenties, mainly by Greyhound bus cross-continent; and b) my family travelled a lot when I was a kid, mainly by station wagon up and down the east coast. Until this past fall, I hadn't done much in the way of road trips for a long time, but now it looks like I'm a travelling person again. I'm about to drive from Cleveland to San Francisco with Ellen Klages Real Soon Now, because we're middle-aged women and when will we get another chance?

Alas, this won't take us to New Hampshire, Maine, or Hawai'i, and it probably won't take us to the Grand Canyon, either, unless we get seriously lost. Nevertheless, it will be a laugh riot.

Wait a minute. I'm talking about how much I've travelled in response to a comment from you, Far-Distant-Travel-Woman? Waaaugh. You're just talking about the color of the map here, aren't you? Besides the country I live in, I've been to four other countries. Besides the country you live in now, you've lived in (as far as I can count) four or five other countries, depending on how many countries we count the former Yugoslavia as being and whether you lived in New Zealand AND Australia or just one of them, which I can't remember right now.
