Any New Year's Eve where one guest throws up and the host breaks the chandelier must be a helluva celebration. We had a good time, he's feeling much better now, and I never liked that chandelier very much anyway.

Gosh, all that happened at our party* was one Xmas tree ornament got broken. Makes our party seem so tame.

*At least, all that I know of. Perhaps there was more excitement than I heard about.

We weren't even having a party. We were spending a quiet evening at home with the kids and grandkids and some old friends. One grandkid ate something (suggested and prepared by his mother, I might add) that didn't agree with him. Glenn improvised an arangement to get the chandelier out of the way of Kinect exuberance, and in the process broke one of its arms.

We laughed quite a lot, but we forgot to get the champagne out of the refrigerator at midnight.
