New word for the New Year

My favorite recently-encountered word in English: wlonk.

You can look it up. I did. You probably can't pronounce it, though. I sure can't.

LOL! What a wlonk word! ;) Reminds me of our pidgin pronunciation of Chaucer at school.

Yeah, it's kinda like that. The last citation the OED gave for it was in Morte d'Arthur (I think), so it hasn't exactly been popular during recent centuries.
