Corflu Stu

I'm at Corflu. Stu Shiffman is not at Corflu. I want to put together a one-shot fanzine for Stu, written here. I've promised to write an article for that one-shot before midnight tonight. I'm also going to ask people who make Corflu-related LJ entries (like this one by Kate Yule) if I can scarf those entries for this purpose, to give Stu a composite flavor of the convention.

Friends of Stu, are you with me? You don't have to be at Corflu to participate.

For this purpose, short is better than long, and done is better than perfect. Unlike one-shots of the far-distant past, this need not be composed continuously on a beer-spattered typewriter in the consuite. You can email me your contribution or post it as a comment to this entry or hand it to me in the hall late this evening.

Yes; you're totally welcome to grab my LJ posts from Corflu.

I saw folks working on a laptop in the far parlor during Saturday night's bheer tasting and related festivities. Gary Hunnewell told me he was writing for the one-shot, but it's just now that I see what's up with that. Kate, you rock. Thank you. Stu's art is here, in the pages of fanzines in the flea market and auction, and one or more original(s) in the form of a Corflu name badge he decorated for me that were among the Corflu badges I found the night before flying west. And so, his spirit, just as our spirits are with both Stu and Andi.

Thanks! I had thought about producing this fanzine here, but there's no way I can do that. I am not organized in that particular way. I'll grab your posts and scatter them throughout as interlinos.

There may be more than one one-shot going on. This is Corflu, after all.
